Need advice on this story. Help?????

I kind of talked about this in my last question. I want to write about something that will help people. I'm under 18, so a lot of topics worth writing about are too dangerous for me. I'd love to visit Uganda or Sri Lanka and write about the child soldiers there, or write about the sex slaves in America. I just want to help raise awareness about important issues. Can anyone tell me some topics and issues that need addressing and that I should write about? I would really appreciate all of your ideas. Thanks!
I'm looking for topics that will hae an effect people. Something that calls for social reform. ;)

Write about what you know. How is the education in you school? Talk about that.
