Is it bad to have sex when you have a bladder infection?

I feel like I might have one that isn't very bad. Is it bad to have sex when you have a minor bladder infection?

It's certainly not advisable. You get UTI's by introducing infectious bacteria into the urethral opening, and THIS is most often accomplished by either improper hygiene or sex.

Abstain from sex until you (A) know for sure you do or don't have a UTI, and (B) you've been treated completely.
